About the course
Our two-day PRINCE2 Practitioner classroom course helps prepare you for the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination. The Practitioner teaches you to apply and tailor PRINCE2 to the running and managing of a project.
Duration
This is an intensive two-day course that helps prepare you for the Practitioner examinations. Exams are taken online via remote proctor.
Pre-requisites
Before taking the Practitioner exam, you must have passed the PRINCE2 Foundation (5th, 6th, or 7th edition).
Learning Objectives
What will you learn?
The course thoroughly explains each integrated element of the PRINCE2 framework.
- Project context – The application of each PRINCE2 element must be fit for the project it is being applied to, including its size, strategic importance, industry sector, etc.
- Principles – Seven guiding obligations underpin the management of a PRINCE2 project; if these are not applied, it is not a PRINCE2 project.
- People – People are central to a PRINCE2 project, including those working on it and those who may be impacted by it. You will understand the needs, capability, motivations, and interrelationships of each stakeholder, helping you to manage them effectively.
- Practices – The seven project management practices must be applied consistently throughout the project, forming the core of PRINCE2. The course covers why each exercise is necessary and how it should be used.
- Processes – The PRINCE2 lifecycle consists of seven lifecycle processes detailing the responsibilities and activities that should be undertaken from a project’s conception to its final closure.
By the end of the Practitioner learning, you should:
- Understand how to apply the PRINCE2 principles in context
