The PRINCE2 7 Foundation exam measures your understanding of the PRINCE2 methodology. In contrast, the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam evaluates your ability to apply and adapt it. For whom it is intended

The PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification level is particularly recommended for Project Managers. PRINCE2 7 Foundation exam

• 60 multiple-choice questions
• 36 points required to pass (out of 60) - 60%
• Duration 60 minutes (75 minutes for candidates taking the exam in a language other than their native language)
• Closed book

PRINCE2 7 Practitioner exam

• 70 multiple-choice questions
• 42 points or more needed to pass (out of 70) - 60%
• Duration 150 minutes
• Open book exam (official PRINCE2 manual only)

Requirements

There are no formal requirements for the Foundation exam, but you must pass the Foundation before you can take the Practitioner exam
