Course description
What comes to mind when you hear DEI – Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion? Belonging, connected and respect are common themes that are shared most often. The term DEI is used to describe policies and programs that promote the representation and participation of different groups of individuals. DEI encompasses people of different ages, races, ethnicities, abilities, disabilities, genders, religions, cultures, and sexual orientations.
DEI has taken center stage in the past 5 years and continues to grow as a CORE element in a company’s success to recruit and retain top talent which results in higher profits and employee engagement.
The challenge organizations face is how do we incorporate DEI when people are from different backgrounds, locations, beliefs, and approaches. This program includes activities for large and small group work, and exercises to encourage self-reflection.
