Course description
A Take Back Work Workshop : Appreciative Inquiry
The world is changing all around us, but the disruptions bring new opportunities.
We have a choice: reassemble what was, or reimagine what could be. How do
you set the stage for conversations that generate meaningful discussions? That’s
where appreciative inquiry comes in — a strengths-based approach to self-determined change.
In this highly interactive, engaging 2-hour workshop you’ll learn the keys to
getting people fired up and inspired with a new hopefulness that will return
value in countless ways. Drawing on the work of Dr David Cooperrider and his
pioneering colleagues at Case Western Reserve University, we will explore
proven ways to unleash the potential in your organization. We’ll also tap into
research from Gallup that challenges the assumption that solving problems
requires focusing on what’s wrong. If you’re the kind of person who strives to
make things better, this session is for you!
