We will help you with the best strategies to find and secure the career of your dreams. Understand internal and external barriers and ho to overcome them. We have five Career Development courses available in this series that focus on overcoming workplace barriers, assertiveness skills, productive meetings in half the time, conflict management and moving up the corporate ladder.
This course is now launched in Adaptive Learning format.

Overcoming workplace barriers
Internal barriers are any psychological self-limiting beliefs that inhibit productive, constructive job behavior. What are internal obstacles and how do you manage them such as fear, holding back, lack of business skills, avoiding politics and selfish development. Understand and manage the external obstacles including the “glass ceiling”, status levelling and political games.
Assertiveness skills
Assertive behavior is to confidently express what one feels, believes, or thinks while respecting the boundaries of feelings, beliefs, and thoughts of others. Understand the three components of interpersonal communication in more detail, verbal, vocal and visual message. We will show you how to own your thoughts and feelings and take a stand to express your rights or emotions.
Productive meetings in half the time
Discover the four reasons you should have a meeting and how you decide who should attend. Without the correct attendees you are wasting your time and theirs. Understand how to run an effective meeting and why it is important to balance structure with content and interaction. Apply our do’s and don’ts and implement time-saving tips to run productive meetings in half the time.
Conflict management
Conflict is when two or more parties, with perceived incompatible goals, undermine each other's wants or needs. Establish the root cause of the conflict and understand how to apply the five conflict management strategies.
Moving up the corporate ladder
We will help you discover on-going strategies for promotability and looking for fast-track options. Understand the four stage of a career path and plan for career detours such as recessions, millennial competition and late retirements.

With Adaptive Learning you will have a unique learning journey based on your excisting knowledge of the subject. The 5 modules will take 20-40 each to complete depending on your Adaptive journey.
