Since its founding in 2001, SLDI has customized all of its services to the unique needs of its individual clients. Whether the client is a mom-and-pop startup or a Fortune 100 company. SLDI carefully avoids cookie-cutter solutions.
As preparation begins for a training engagement, SLDI conducts extensive conversations with key stakeholders in the client's organization. The goal is to identify the precise outcomes which the client expects from the training.
Course content, presentation materials, handouts, and exercises are then finalized and orchestrated around a training design which will achieve these outcomes.
Your Presenter: A Veteran Leader with Exceptional Credentials
Dr. Mike Armour is SLDI's primary presenter and its managing principal. He founded the firm in 2001. Since that time he has personally coached over 700 executives, managers, and entrepreneurs and has trained thousands of others on four continents.
Dr. Mike brings an extraordinary record of leadership experience to his training programs. Among other things, he has been a Navy captain, a college president, a University dean, the CEO of an international humanitarian organization, and the CIO of a nationwide intelligence program.
For several years Dr. Mike taught leadership courses in a major MBA program. He has written or co-authored eleven books, seven of them in the field of leadership. Outside of North America, he has years of experience providing leadership and management training in Africa, Eastern Europe, and Asiatic Russia.
