Course description
Human Understanding and Engagement (HUE) Conversation Method - Foundational Course
Conversations have potential for profound impact, but too often they end in frustration after meaningless chatter. Learn how to implement our framework for inclusive conversations that encourage participation from every group member and naturally move the collective from inquiry to informed action.
HUE Conversations is a one day workshop that teaches participants a framework and core principles to engage all thinking styles to effectively lead meaningful conversations from formal meetings in a boardroom to personal chats with a community or a family member.
You will learn about how to leverage each person's unique ways of thinking:
- Databased Thinking
- Emotive Thinking
- Visionary Thinking
- Critical Thinking
- Action-Oriented Thinking
Although we all have the ability to think in a variety of ways, most of us find it easiest and most comfortable to approach situations from one or two lenses. This is neither good nor bad, however, it is important to be aware of the assumptions and tunnel-vision that occur by limiting our individual and group thinking to just one or two styles of thinking. Challenge your own thought process and develop greater awareness of group processing in our HUE Conversations Course not only learning the natural way the brain processes information but also understanding how individual personality traits can change thinking.
