Who should attend?
Our goal is not only to train you but to see you land—and succeed in—an IT job. You don’t need any prior tech experience to enroll. However, we have found successful students are:
- At least 18 years old
- A high school graduate (or GED holder)
- A U.S. citizen (or authorized to work in the U.S.)
- Highly motivated and able to commit to training
- Able to demonstrate learning, communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to use a computer to navigate in the Windows environment

Training content
In IT-Ready Technical Support, you’ll learn technical skills necessary to prepare for your CompTIA A+ certification exam, one of the leading industry certifications for landing a job on an IT help desk and launching your tech career, according to research firms like Burning Glass. You’ll be taught by CompTIA A+ certified instructors and have access to online learning tools and discussion forums to reinforce your studies.
You’ll also receive targeted professional development to refine critical business skills, such as communication, conflict management, teamwork, critical thinking and problem-solving. You’ll be prepared to apply both technical and professional skills starting Day One of your tech job.
Course delivery details
In our online campus, classes are offered over 16 weeks with three-hour daily sessions, Monday-Friday. Classes run from 9 a.m. to Noon CT or from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm CT.
Costs
Tuition for the IT-Ready Technical Support class is $8500. However, your actual out-of-pocket expense may vary depending on any financial assistance you may be eligible to receive. Since 2012, all eligible students to our IT-Ready Technical Support program have qualified for grants to significantly reduce their tuition expenses.
You may make payments in two installments: 50% due no later than 14 days before your course begins, and the remaining 50% due one month after the first payment is made.
Certification / Credits
We teach motivated individuals like you the technical and professional development skills needed to successfully secure work in tech. You’ll learn how to prepare for the CompTIA A+ certification exam, a leading certification for help desk and desktop support computer technicians, according to research firms like Burning Glass. We’ll also help you prepare for job interviews and give you opportunities to connect with our employer partners.
