Course description
Creating a psychologically safe workplace takes intention, practice and skill. In these experiential workshops, you will explore some foundational tools for communicating and collaborating in ways that create the right conditions for people to do their best work.
The Basics: in this workshop, we explore tools for understanding the brain’s role in creating and perceiving safety, as well as foundational tools for communication that build psychological safety.
Failing to Learn/Learning to Fail: this workshop explores the complex human experience that we call failure. You will learn new tools and strategies to manage fear and blame, while increasing the quality of learning.
Cracking Open Communication: in this workshop, you will discover a framework to understand the dynamics of communication in your team, learn how to disagree, surface difficult topics and create space for all voices to be heard.
Blowing Out the Barrier Intensive: in this next-level workshop, participants will identify and work with a significant barrier to their own psychological safety. Through a guided process, you will gain clarity about your barrier and create a path forward beyond it.
