Course description
Presenting as a Leader
As individual contributors get promoted into leadership positions, presentations become a more regular occurrence, and the need to inspire, persuade, connect, and educate an audience is more important to their success than ever before. That's because leaders present far more often than you may imagine. Think about every team huddle, budget update, sales call, and staff meeting they are asked to contribute to or speak at. When you think about it that way, equipping your leaders with strong presentation skills and building their confidence, becomes that much more important.
In Presenting as a Leader, your leaders will learn what it takes to build and deliver presentations that inspire an audience to listen and act. To do this, we take a learn by doing approach where your leaders get to practice presenting to their small cohort of supportive peers and their experienced facilitator (who presents for a living!). This is the optimal environment to receive feedback and practice applying it, all of which builds one's abilities and confidence as a presenter.
