4 Hour Supported Scaffold User
According to New York City Local Law 52 of 2005, the four hour pipe/supported scaffold training course is necessary for all employees utilizing supported scaffolds on construction sites in New York City. This training course exhibits the crucial elements of supported scaffold safety and presents to the students the structure of supported scaffold dangers. This course highlights the functions of the scaffold user in accident avoidance, including scaffold inspections, pinpointing safety violations, and responding to emergencies.

Who should attend?
Prerequisite
There are no prerequisites for this training course. However students must be able to communicate with the instructor in the language that the training is provided in.
Audience
This training course is constructed for the population of professions who use supported scaffolds in NYC, such as construction workers, safety inspectors, safety managers, engineers and architects and others.
Training content
Consequent to the completion of the course, students should be able to:Compile supported scaffolds in accordance with NYC Building Codes
- Discuss common supported scaffold hazards based on statistical and historical data provided.
- Analyze the major supported scaffold types and all of the fundamental components.
- Establish skills required to accommodate regulations when utilizing supported scaffold systems on the job site.
- Discuss learned policy when visually reviewing supported scaffolds on construction sites.
- Summarize supported scaffold Federal Regulations and their sources.
Course delivery details
Swing Staging Training & Safety, LLC provides certification of specific OSHA and Scaffold operations and use. With presentation, equipment awareness, and physical interaction or widely used as well as new products in a classroom setting and practical operation of heavy equipment widely used throughout the industry in a practical room fitted with state of the art products. Students operate and fully inspect the live equipment they use and/or see on their job sites.
Certification / Credits
Consequent to successfully completing of the course, students will receive a four hour supported scaffold user license that will be valid for four years.
