Leading Change: People and Process
Change is constant and leaders at all levels of an organization are expected to anticipate change and drive success because of, or despite, the changes. Regardless of your position in your organization, as our workplaces continue to evolve, change management is demanding an executable level of leadership. This course is designed to take your knowledge and skills of leading through change to a new level.
This two-part course explores two vital aspects of Leading Change. On day one, you will focus on the change process and enhancing your skills to drive successful outcomes. Day two will focus on the people aspects of managing through changes, how to overcome resistance, and recruit internal champions. Both days combined to create a powerhouse of skill-building to help you master leadership within changing environments.
Change Management: Process
By assessing change methods, personal and organizational readiness, and stakeholder management, you will be guided through the change management process as a way to explore and enhance your knowledge and skills of strategies and tactics for change. Using personal experience and case studies, you will participate in a variety of exercises to examine future change initiatives and how you could better prepare for a successful outcome
Change Management: People
Change isn't just about the process. The second day of Leading Change focuses on topics and exercises on influencing change, as well as, anticipating and planning for conflicts and resistance. By examining how leadership influences change through dialogue and feelings-based conversations, you will discover how to recruit internal champions of change and overcome resistors.
