Course description
Unconscious Bias: You Are Not Your Brain - In House
Biochemical and psychological activities in our brain can take over our thoughts, cause us to question our abilities, overpower us with cravings, and attempt to dictate our actions through a mental shortcut process referred to as implicit (or unconscious) bias.
This half-day interactive workshop provides managers and leaders with a practical understanding of the neuroscience of the brain, implicit bias, and how to move from confrontation to co-creation through “We”-centred behaviours. Through practical examples and illuminating role plays, participants will leave the session with a new perspective on how to recognize and overcome brain-induced conversational blind spots that get in the way of navigating today’s diverse and fast-paced environment.
