Course description
Brainstorming Checklist - 90-Minute Webinar
Despite what you may have heard, brainstorming - executed well! - is still a great way to generate a large number of ideas, which is the only way to get good ideas. Brainstorming can also be a great way to get a team unstuck, to collaborate with colleagues, and to reach across departments and break down silos.
This presentation and discussion has been adapted from the one-day brainstorming workshop. The webinar will provide rules, tips, tricks, and sage advice for running effective brainstorms. How many should attend, and who? What kind of room and how can we set it up for success? Who will run it, and who will capture and synthesize the results? What's the proper way to frame a brainstorm challenge, and what can you do to ensure a good turnout and a fruitful session?
All these questions and more will be addressed by a senior Innovationship partner, who brings decades of experience in leading brainstorms and teaching brainstorming.
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- Understand why some brainstorming sessions work, and other don’t
- Know the essential ingredients for setting up and conducting effective and productive brainstorming sessions
- Inspire themselves and others to learn more about the proper use of brainstorming as a creative and collaborative tool for innovation
