This course if for those who have a passion for impacting your community, whether through furthering the arts, education, environmental issues, social justice or another cause, and want to take the next step by building a lasting and impactful nonprofit organization. If this is you, join us as we discuss the principles of establishing an impactful nonprofit organization. We will begin with exploring the “Why” behind your concept—the need it will address. This discussion will help you build mission and vision statements to guide your work. With these principles in mind, you will investigate where your nonprofit fits within the community, determine financial needs and fundraising strategies, identify the key people and partners needed, and develop a marketing plan. By the end of this course, you will have developed the components to your nonprofit business plan and will be ready to move your cause to the next level.
