Course description
Certification bodies often find IAF Mandatory Documents overly prescriptive, making determination of audit time too complicated. This course was developed to explain and clarify the content of IAF Mandatory Document 5, Determination of Audit Time of Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems. In addition, the course will demonstrate how IAF MD 5 should be used in combination with IAF MD 1 and IAF MD 11, and help commercial and technical staff understand that the documents allow flexibility to consider each potential client on a case-by-case basis. Case studies are used to help participants understand how to use IAF MD 5 in determining determine credible audit times.
