The Academic Institute for Higher Education GmbH (AIHE) is an academic institute accredited by international universities and external auditors. With its own examiners and teaching staff, AIHE runs professional distance learning programmes on behalf of international universities. Students are enrolled at the partner university and also receive their certificate, Bachelor's or Master's degree there. Academic courses have been offered since 2006 and Bachelor's and postgraduate Master's courses as well as certificate courses since 2015.

AIHE follows a 100% distance learning approach. It enables a very practice-oriented, location-independent, time-independent, self-determined and multicultural way of learning. The teaching concept relies on a diverse group of recognised international professors and lecturers from all over the world.
