The Executive and Professional Coaching Certificate Program is dedicated to developing world-class coaches who are taught by the best to be the best. We attract students from around the globe that are looking for the optimal balance between academic rigour and practical experience. Since 2005, UTD has been the coaching program of choice for Fortune 500 companies and individuals seeking to distinguish themselves in the coaching marketplace.
This is a 12 month, non-credit track in the program. Participants are prepared to be certified for the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) level of the International Coach Federation(ICF). As an ICF Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP), the certificate incorporates a thorough study of the ICF Core Competencies and skill-building under the direction of highly qualified ICF mentors.

Training content
The Professional Certificate in Executive and Professional Coaching involves completing a comprehensive program. The curriculum is organized into three parts: educational, practicum and Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) examination. The ACTP Exam follows the end of the third semester and is required for completion of the Professional Certificate.

Course delivery details
Students will begin in either August or February as a cohort with students in the other tracks offered.
The educational component of the program consists of a series of learning modules organized into three main content courses. A learning module is a class that meets for four to six sessions during the semester. The Certificate’s class schedule is delivered on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and from 5:30 pm -7 pm (Central Time) via an interactive, virtual classroom that can be accessed from anywhere in the world.
Course requirements include additional readings, short papers, reviewing recordings, fieldwork, peer coaching and identifying and coaching clients.
Costs
Cost for the program is $12,000 for the entire certificate. The first payment of $6000 is billed at the beginning of the certificate and the second payment is billed at the start of the third section.
Typically, employee tuition benefits programs require that academic credit is earned, so please check with your company’s tuition benefit representative if you are seeking to pay for the program with your benefits. The program is happy to provide any documentation or program plans required for review by your organization.
