Course description
Derivatives Markets Go Green: ESG, Emissions Trading & More
The use of environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) derivatives once a niche marketplace continues to attract a broader set of market participants driving its growth. It also reinforces the idea that derivatives can play a key role in the advancement of ESG objectives in the financial markets and in the global transition to a green economy.
This IFM course is designed to provide foundational information about ESG markets, government and investor expectations, and what factors are driving growth and product innovation. The training also will demonstrate how this unique type of derivatives can be used to manage the financial risks related to ESG.
