Course description
Intergalactic Adventure - Break Down Silos and Build Teamwork
Futuristic music and an interplanetary slideshow set the mood for this out-of-this-world team building experience
Your Intergalactic Adventure begins by learning that aliens are on their way to invade and attack. Each team is tasked with destroying one of the communication satellites that reaches across the galaxy to allow the aliens to coordinate their mission.
Even one of those satellites remains, the enemy will be able to enact their plan of intergalactic dominance and they will eradicate the human race!
Set against a backdrop of having just 20 days to complete their mission (each day lasts between 5-8 minutes), the team must race to make daily decisions, trade resources (you can never have too many space rations and phase blasters), and take out their satellite.
Unfortunately, competition is inevitable and the fate of the galaxy is hanging in the balance.
Along the way, unexpected events cause teams to improvise, adapt and clue into other teams’ strategies to accomplish the objectives. By the end of the fast-paced exercise, participants discover the power of effective communication, trust and working together to achieve a common goal.
Throughout this three-hour activity, teams are rewarded for innovative thinking and communication. Wrapped up with a powerful debrief, your teams will learn the important lessons of teamwork, communication, collaboration, and working toward a common goal.
What a great lesson to bring back to the workplace!
