Harmonia – Medieval Themed Team Development Program
Welcome to the Kingdom of Harmonia! Step back into medieval times where a small, but growing kingdom desperately needs your guidance and wisdom. Every decision you make will determine whether or not you prosper, thrive, and hopefully ward off an attack by the aggressive neighboring kingdom, Nexdoria.
Working as a council of 5-6 team members, you must make decisions to bring wealth into the kingdom, balance the needs of the king and the peasants, build up defenses, and possibly even enhance the quality of life with festivals, a hospital, and a university.
Expect the unexpected as your kingdom weathers the triumphs, trials, and tribulations of this exciting time period. You never know what friend or foe will venture into the kingdom next. How will your team react?
Each team is equipped with their own laptop where they can view real-time results.
This activity can take place in a single conference room or from remote locations simultaneously all over the world.
Imagine being able to connect all of your remote teams in one cohesive team building event. Everything that all of your remote teams do is instantly synched to the group to provide real-time results for maximum connection.
This exercise isn’t all jesters and jousting – Harmonia is packed with serious fun!
The program ends with a 45-minute debrief that addresses how your team balanced the following:
- The needs of staff versus organizational objectives
- The focus on culture versus results
- Team or departmental goals versus organizational objectives
- Short-term versus long-term results
- Internal competition versus external threats
- The needs of management versus staff
- Rewarding individual contribution versus teamwork
This is truly a one-of-a-kind event that will become part of your team’s legacy.
