Founded in 1983, ONLC Training Centers was one of the first companies to offer PC-based technology training. It has grown to be one of the largest privately held IT training companies in the US with over 300 training facilities from coast to coast.

ONLC specializes in Remote Classroom Instruction (RCI™). In an RCI class, the participants travel to a nearby commercial office building and sit in small, specially equipped classrooms that hold 1 to 4 students. Those rooms are connected to an instructor who is teaching in a remote location.

Class size is limited to 12. A typical class might have 10 students seated in 10 different locations across the country, with the instructor teaching from home. Instructors have special software that allows them to visually monitor each student’s on-screen activities as well as take over those computers to offer assistance.

The company’s RCI solution has garnered considerable success in the IT training market. ONLC has placed on the Inc. Magazine’s list of fastest growing companies for 6 straight years--a feat which is particularly noteworthy in light of the fact that the company has no outbound sales force. Their growth has come from in-bound marketing efforts and positive word of mouth referrals.
