Spanish Fundamentals Certificate Program: Spanish III Learning Spanish Through Music and Movies

Spanish Fundamentals: Spanish III is for intermediate to advanced learners of the Spanish language as it will be taught 90% in Spanish. Throughout the course we will watch movies that are culturally relevant and discuss their major themes. We will listen to a variety of music genres from Latin-America and discuss their major themes along with their histories. Topics covered include: Immigration; Family structure and roles; Gender roles; Afro-Latinidad; Intergenerational changes; Assimilating to United States culture; At the end of the course participants will have more confidence in their communication ability to: Better understand and relate to the Latinos they come across in everyday life; Accurately speak on issues that relate to this group. Goldy Venture's Spanish Fundamentals will empower you to engage with the language diversity within the workforce and those you meet in daily life.
