Learning the Spanish language isn’t enough; one must also learn the culture! Through this Goldy Ventures course, learn about Latino and Spanish-speaking culture through well-known songs. Each week will focus on different artists, popular songs, and the cultural heritage that influences lyrics and the historical context of the sounds. What’s more? Although this class will be taught in English, participants will learn the basic Spanish vocabulary of the music. This class is ideal for both English and Spanish speakers who want to know more about the Spanish-speaking world of music with Cuban, Puerto Rican, Tejano, and Colombian artists. Here you will learn how to use Spanish and knowledge of Spanish speaking cultures to develop your cross cultural leadership skills allowing you to lean into the diversity of your team or throughout your organization.
