Georgia Tech Scheller's Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Green Belt program is designed for professionals from any industry or background interested in learning how to identify problems, analyze possibilities, and implement solutions for increasing productivity and efficiency in their organizations.
Training content
Our LSS Green Belt program requires no prior experience in process improvement methodologies. The program provides a full introduction into DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) principles, a data-driven improvement cycle used for optimizing and stabilizing business processes.
Course delivery details
The program can be completed 100% online and feature a combination of interactive, live video instruction and dynamic, on-demand exercises. You can take up to one year after finishing coursework to complete your real-world process improvement project under the guidance of expert faculty. Once your project is complete, it will be evaluated for your certification.
Costs
The program fee is $1,900 (USD).
Certification / Credits
You will receive their certification from the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business upon completing the LSS Green Belt program coursework and final process improvement project.
Please note that coursework and project work must be completed within a one-year timeframe.
Continuing studies
Students who choose to continue their LSS studies and progress to the LSS Black Belt program do not need to complete their process improvement project to advance and can complete a Black Belt level project to earn a Black Belt certification.
