Center for Transportation Safety Entry-Level CDL Course
This 160-hour commercial driver's license preparatory training program takes place over 16-21 days and assures students have the basic knowledge of commercial vehicle systems and the necessary skills required to safely operate commercial motor vehicles on public roadways.
Students participate in a comprehensive curriculum which includes theory (classroom) and range and road behind the wheel exercises.
Program Overview
- We bring the training program to you: including a mobile classroom, training trucks, equipment and certified instructors
- Our cost effective format creates a viable path for a company’s current non-driver employees to enrich their careers as CDL holders
- Training is conducted by highly-knowledgeable instructors who have a minimum of 10 years behind-the-wheel experience and many of who have logged more than one million miles on the road
- We work diligently to assure our training programs are always aligned with the latest federal standards for newly licensed drivers as set forth by FMCSA
Driving Dynamics manages all administrative work during and after training, including:
- Maintaining learner databases and record of assessments and test scores
- Obtaining required insurance and certifications for new drivers
- Accompanying drivers to the local department of motor vehicles or public safety for testing
- Assuring Department of Transportation (DOT) Motor Carrier licensing and compliance
