Business Insights: Storytelling with Data
Learn how to turn your data into powerful fact-based selling stories. Utilize a proven process to find and effectively communicate your ideas in a compelling story.
The PowerPoint slide is often the canvas in which you communicate your story. It is the result of your analysis. But did you find the full meaning of the data? Did you write a powerful and concise story? Did you use best-in-class data visualization tools that support and speed the understanding of the story?
This program is designed to create “black belt” certified experts that have proven, by scoring 70% or higher on a 3-hour proctored exam, that they can analyze data, extrapolate the most relevant insights and apply best-in-class data visualization techniques to communicate the key insights to internal or external customers.

Business Insights 1: Process & Techniques (BI 1)
Focuses on how to utilize Business Management Question™ tools to: improve critical thinking and drill to the root cause, discover the key insights, write concise and powerful business statements, and identify the most effective visual to communicate the story.
Business Insights 2: Analytical Tools (BI 2)
Covers the mechanics of business insights — retail math and Excel — to increase speed and proficiency, so more time can be allocated to analyzing data.
Business Insights 3: Applications (BI 3)
Reinforces and dives deeper into the key learning elements from BI 1. Multiple real-world case studies cement the learning through application. Delta facilitators provide individual and group coaching.
Together, the three courses begin you on your path of storytelling with your retail data.
