Lean for Education: Introduction (Online)
Begin with the fundamentals of Lean for Education to understand how Lean principles can be applied to education. In the Lean for Education series, participants will learn the tools necessary to identify and remove waste from a process, sustain the gains made and improve the operation and safety of their organization. (60 days to complete this online, self-paced course)

Training content
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- Understand why the implementation of Lean is vital to the continuous improvement of an educational system
- Identify the 8 Wastes; describe the overall purpose and benefits of 5S in education
- Explain the seven change model elements that contribute to successful change management
- Understand how Lean workplace design differs from traditional approaches and understand its benefits to an educational organization
