Public Sector Procurement (Corporate Training)
The pressure on public bodies to operate even more efficiently has never been greater. Money is tight and will even tighter over the next few years, which means the public body need to spend wisely and make effective purchasing decision. Central to this imperative, is the organizations to have staff who have the appropriate procurement skills.
This course will focus on the basics of the procurement process, the various procurement procedures and the timescales.
Participants will understand the Selection and Award process and they will be able to participate in procurement exercises for evaluation and the standstill process
