In India, Centum Learning has set up Centum WorkSkills India in partnership with NSDC with an objective to enhance skills of millions of youth across the country and empower them with livelihood linked skilling programs. Through its skilling centres across India, it imparts employability linked skills training in sectors like Retail, Automobile, Hospitality, Health Care, Building and Construction, Telecom and Beauty & Wellness, to name a few.
Centum Learning is playing a pivotal role in the integration of vocational and school education by implementingNational Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF)in schools and providing vocational education from class 9 onwards. It has partnered with various State governments to implement the ‘Vocationalisation of Higher Secondary Education (VHSE)’ in more than 1700 schools, impacting more than 1,50,000 students across 20 states and union territories in India
The CSR arm of Centum Learning- Centum Foundation, implements CSR projects for various corporates by providing livelihood skilling to underprivileged youth including people with disabilities. Centum Foundation also empowers the Deaf in India and assist them in availing respectable jobs in different domains.
