Course description
WWI Leadership Program
At the time, World War I was thought to be the war to end all wars. This course explores how the leaders of the American Expeditionary Force prepared themselves and their units to face such an unprecedented effort, joining a coalition of exhausted allies to wage a different style of war using new technologies like aviation, armored vehicles, poison gases, and more precise weapons and artillery.
Participants in this program with Battlefield Leadership will utilize historical case studies and class discussions to explore how leaders forge alignment with partners and simultaneously develop their own organizations to confront new, formidable challenges.
Selected leadership competencies for the WWI Leadership Program are:
- Building high performing teams
