Course description
Business Analysis' main purpose is to enable changes in an organizational context, by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders. To accomplish that, business analysts must elicit information from stakeholders and/or other sources, that can help teams discover and understand the business need (problems, opportunities, expected benefits/value, capabilities/capabilities gap, context). With that information, business analysts collaborate with business and solution stakeholders to define requirements and designs for implementing solutions (or changes to solutions) that can address that business need. All this information (elicitation results and requirements/designs) must also be communicated and confirmed/validated with all stakeholders.
In this course you will learn the critical knowledge/skills and techniques that can be used to perform the elicitation and collaboration tasks, based on recommendations provided by IIBA in the BABOK v3 Guide.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will have the required knowledge/skills and a toolkit with most common techniques to perform the Elicitation and Collaboration tasks.
