Leading Virtually in the 21st Century
Are you the leader of a team that is spread across North America or global? This is more and more common for leaders in the 21st century. A virtual team’s success falls on the shoulders of the leader. When managed effectively, virtual teams can increase productivity, help meet organizational goals and improve quality of work. It takes multiple enhanced skills to overcome a variety of unique challenges that can negatively impact the team’s success.
In this interactive program, participants will be asked to complete some pre-work prior to the session. During the workshop tips, tools and techniques for developing core competencies to enhance the productivity of your virtual team will be introduced and explored. Participants will also be able to build a plan for increasing participation, building trust and enhancing connections with team members. A variety of exercises and activities will apply participants to apply and reinforce the learning.
