Course description
This short overview course focuses on understanding the International Organization for Standardization (or ISO) and the development of ISO standards. A brief overview of the ISO history, mission and structure is presented. Information is also provided regarding standards and how standards are developed. Lastly, this course provides introductory information on a few key quality concepts of continuous improvement and effectiveness that are fundamental to many of the ISO standards. Quizzes throughout the training help measure comprehension.
