Course description
The Overview of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 training is a self-paced, web-based training delivered through ANAB’s training platform. This introductory course provides an overview of ISO/IEC 17025:2017, outlining and detailing each clause of the standard.
Participants will examine the origins of the standard and explore concepts related to:
- General Requirements,
- Structural requirements,
- Resource requirements,
- Process requirements, and
- Management system requirements.
Additionally, practical concepts will be highlighted, including:
- Impartiality
- Document control
- Internal auditing
- Risk-based thinking
- Measurement uncertainty
- Management review
- Continual improvement
Quizzes throughout the training aid in measuring comprehension. Upon completion of the overview course, participants will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the standard requirements and the ability to interpret the requirements for implementation in a laboratory.
